Privacy policy

• Profile information you type in — name, phone, email, city, education, skills, target roles and your resume text. You choose all of it; none of it is required to browse the product.
• An optional candidate photo, which is cropped in your browser and stored on your device. It is never uploaded.
• Activity inside the product — applications you log, assessment results, mock interview transcripts and which cheat sheets you have marked as revised. This is what powers your readiness score and the guarantee checklist.
• Text you send to AI features — the resume and job description you paste, and your mock-interview answers.

• Your email account credentials. We never ask for them, because we never send email as you.
• Payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay; card numbers never reach our servers.
• Your contacts, browsing history, or anything outside this product.
• Government ID numbers. We have no reason to hold them.

The product runs in demo mode until cloud storage is configured. In demo mode everything above stays in your own browser's local storage and is never transmitted to us. There is no account, no server-side record, and nothing for us to lose.

When cloud sync is enabled, your profile and application records are stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security, so one account can only ever read its own rows. We will update this page — and the date on it — before that change ships.

Three processors, each doing one job, and no one else:

• Our AI provider, which receives the text you submit to an AI feature in order to generate the draft. That text is not used to train models.
• Razorpay, for payment processing, which collects payment details directly from you under its own privacy policy.
• Our hosting and database provider, which stores the data once cloud sync is enabled.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share your profile with employers, recruiters or advertisers. There is no arrangement under which anyone pays us for access to you.

Listings that name a real employer are illustrative examples with indicative pay, marked as sample listings throughout the product. Company logos are loaded from a public favicon service purely to identify the employer, the way any job aggregator does. FresherPilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any company shown.

• Erase everything — Settings → Reset all data wipes your profile, applications, mock interviews and results from the device immediately. In demo mode that is the complete deletion; there is no copy elsewhere.
• Access and correction — everything we hold about you is visible and editable inside the product. Where cloud sync is enabled, you can also request an export.
• Withdraw consent — stop using the AI features, or delete your data, at any time and without asking us.

The product is intended for people who are old enough to work — 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
